PILOT FUND HONDURAS

Duration of the project: September 2015 - April 2016

The Comisión de Acción Social Menonita (CASM) aims at raising awareness about the situation of returned migrants in Honduras and seeks the inclusion of migration into the local policy agenda. This is done through round table sessions and other events with local governments in Valle de Sula area. One of the main outcomes from these events was a letter of commitment between 9 municipalities in the area and civil society organisations to help young returned migrants through reintegration programmes. This project also includes an ongoing campaign to improve the lives of returned migrants.
