The MADE Global Working Group on Global Governance of Migration and Development is coordinated by Cordaid, an international development organisation with its HQ in The Hague, The Netherlands.

All civil society organizations working in the field of migration and development or with an interest in the topic are welcome to join and participate upcoming events or other activities.

Priorities 2016


  • In the framework of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, continue organizing a series of advocacy webinars on SDG implementation and indicator development 
  • Extend the advocacy toolkit with tools aimed at SDG implementation and indicator development, such as the CS Talking Points
  • Organize and coordinate CSO shadow reports on migration-related goals and targets in the framework of the UN follow-up and review process, and alongside the annual High Level Political Forum (HLPF) meeting in July in New York 
  • Organize and coordinate policy recommendations preventing forced migration especially in fragile states and ensuring the protection of refugees and migrants in the framework of the UN Summit on the large-scale movement of migrants and refugees, and SDG 10.7 on safe and responsible migration
  • Update the WG members on new developments in migration and sustainable development through mailings and webinars
