14th UN annual coordination meeting on international migration

The fourteenth UN annual coordination meeting on international migration is organized by the Population Division and will be held at the United Nations in New York on 25 and 26 February.

This meeting will focus on the progress in monitoring and implementing migration-related commitments included in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (A/RES/70/1) and the 2013 High-level Dialogue on International Migration and Development (A/RES/68/4) along with the contribution of relevant intergovernmental bodies and forums to the follow-up and review of these goals.

The participants of this meeting have also the opportunity to present and coordinate their activities and initiatives on migration, including those being undertaken in preparation for the high-level plenary meeting of the General Assembly on addressing large movements of refugees and migrants, scheduled on 19 September 2016.
