The United Nations summit for the adoption of the post-2015 development agenda will be held from 25 to 27 September 2015, in New York and convened as a high-level plenary meeting of the General Assembly.

On 8 September 2015, a half-day panel discussion with the UN Committee on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families will take place at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland to mark the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the General Assembly of the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families.

The Turkish Chair will convene a series of meetings between Septamber 7 and 9 2015 for the GFMD Troika, GFMD Steering Group, and GFMD Friends of the Forum.
