This year’s first Friends of the Forum meeting is chaired by Bangladesh, the Chair-in-Office of GFMD 2016 and is held in Geneva on 4 and 5 February. The meeting will focus on the draft Concept Note and the proposed Work Plan of the GFMD 2016 Chairmanship.
The Friends of the Forum is extended to all States Members and Observers of the United Nations. Their meetings are held in principle at least twice between each year and allow to all the members of the Forum to be informed of the most recent developments related to the Global Forum and its agenda.
