Third meeting of the High-level Group for Partnership, Coordination and Capacity-Building for post-2015 monitoring

The third meeting of the High-level Group for Partnership, Coordination and Capacity-Building for post-2015 monitoring (HLG for post-2015 monitoring), will take place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on 14 and 15 January 2016. The meeting focuses on reviewing the mandate and working mechanisms of the group, the startegic aspects of a global Sustainable Development Indicator framework and the next steps in the HLGs 2016 work programme. 

The HLG for post-2015 monitoring was created during the 46th session of the UN Statistical Commission to ensure strategic leadership for the SDG implementation process and to encourage partnership, capacity-building and coordination for post-2015 monitoring. The first and second meetings were held on 7 October and 11 November via teleconference.
